The Galaxy VI or 'Bismarck Class' is the final outing for the ageing Galaxy Class starship – it is the last completely new ship related to that class. The 'Bismarck' represents an enormous leap in engineering featuring the most up-to-date tactical systems fitted to starship allowing it to target up to eight targets at once. Harking back to the days of traditional naval warfare, the 'Bismarck' now has the ability to broadside her enemies with an impressive armament of Pulse Phasers and Micro Torpedo Launchers. While all of this may seem to be excessive, especially for a ship belonging to a 'peaceful' Federation, Starfleet has been at war now for almost 11 years – the latest batch of new designs such as the Falkirk, Eximus and Intimidator Class starships all represent the combat ready attitudes of the Federation.
