-Cardassian Union reforms and alligns itself with the Tholian Assembly and the Breen. Skirmishes the Cardassian Alliance and the Federation escalate tensions between the Alpha and Beta Quadrant Races. The RSE sends a number of taskforces to assist Federation forces against the threat of invasion by the Cardassian Alliance.
-Klingon Empire votes on declaring war with the RSE and invades whilst Romulan forces are distracted. Meanwhile, Cardassian Alliance declares war Federation and RSE. RSE formally requests a war pact against the Klingons to the Federation. Federation Council officially votes against the movement, however the Tal'Shiar and Section 31agree on a course of action.
-Federation lose two sectors to the Cardassian Alliance. Romulan Star Empire instigates a counter offensive against the Klingons wiping out four shipyards.

-USS Enterprise-E destroyed along with the whole of Taskforce 8 and 2/3 of Taskforce 19 defending Starbase 12 in the Maelstrom, from a Breen-Tholian Battle group. Starfleet lose key tactical stronghold; Starbase 12. Maelstrom declared Cardassian Territory.
-Romulans commission the Scimitar Class (Reman Warbird) in an effort to counter the relentless attacks of the Klingon Empire. Starfleet commissions the Sovereign Dreadnought (Intimidator Class). Two ships launched; USS Intimidator and USS Enterprise-F.
-Section 31 and the Tal'Shiar assassinate the Klingon High Council, evidence left subtley implicating the Cardassian's trying to frame the Federation is left behind. Klingons fall for the ploy and declare war on Cardassia.

Three way military operation launched; several Cardassian Alliance worlds and critical facillities captured - all personnel terminated.
-Cardassian Alliance destroys Starbase 352 in retaliation, however, Starfleet had anticipated this move and had evacuated the Station, transferring personnel to DS9.
---The Star, Romulus, unexpectedly begins to exhibit signs of imminent destruction, due to its allignment with the Galactic Core at the time, its destruction could lead to catastrophic consequences to the galaxy. Federation and Romulan transports successfully managed to rescue and evacuate 147 million Romulans and Remans from the system. Romulus goes supernova and explodes. Explosion contained by the sacrifice of Ambassador Spock and the use of the mysterious 'Red Matter', but not before the explosion wipes out the inner worlds of the Romulan home system.---

-Cardassians use a stolen cloaking device to devastate several worlds deep within Federation territory while persisting in numerous attacks on the border. Section 31 plot to assassinate Cardassian Government foiled by several Cardassian sympathisers.
